Although fans may only know him as the kid who plays Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Holland has actually been acting for some time now, on screen and stage. He’s had roles in films such as “In the Heart of the Sea” and “Locke," and was featured in a leading role in “Billy Elliot the Musical." Holland will also star in a bunch of 2017 films aside from “Spider-Man: Homecoming”.

Other nominees include Lucas Hedges (“Manchester by the Sea”), Ruth Negga (“Loving”), Laia Costa (“Victoria”), and Anya Taylor-Joy (“The Witch,” “Split”). Past winners of the award include James McCoy, Kristen Stewart, Eva Green, Shia LaBeouf, Tom Hardy, Juno Temple, Jack O’Connell, and John Boyega.
