Filming for Sony and Marvel Studios' "Spider-Man: Homecoming" is well underway, and -- as evidenced on Instagram -- there will be stunts aplenty performed by star Tom Holland himself. On his personal account, Holland released a behind-the-scenes video of one such stunt, and he wasn't afraid to call out "Thor" star Chris Hemsworth to see if he could "beat that."
While Hemsworth is a fellow member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, his working relationship with Holland goes even further back. Both actors appeared in 2015's "In the Heart of the Sea," before Holland landed his role as the MCU's Spider-Man.
Director Jon Watts also released a behind-the-scenes video on his Instagram, though he provided little context for the scene. "Tom + spooky shadow," he wrote on the video, which shows Holland crouched against a green screen with shadows flickering in the background.
Directed by Jon Watts from a script by from a script by Jonathan M. Goldstein and John Francis Daley (“Vacation”), the film also stars Marisa Tomei, Robert Downey Jr., Zendaya, Michael Keaton, Logan Marshall-Green, Donald Glover, Bokeem Woodbine, Michael Chernus and a still-expanding ensemble that includes Michael Barbieri, Kenneth Choi, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, Hannibal Buress, Abraham Attah, Tiffany Espensen, Garcelle Beauvais and Angourie Rice.
