Just as the merchandising and marketing ramps up for "Spider-Man: Homecoming," Tamashii Nations has revealed the first official images of its S.H. Figuarts wall-crawler action figure.
The highly articulated 6-inch Spider-Man figure is clad in the costume given to him by Tony Stark in "Captain America: Civil War." Featuring interchangeable hands, replaceable eye pieces for different expressions, and web effects, the web-slinger also comes with a backpack, cellphone and a joint to connect to one of the Tamashii stages.
Available for preorder beginning April 3 for about $56, the "Spider-Man: Homecoming" figure is expected to be released on Aug. 11.
“Spider-Man: Homecoming” follows the events of “Captain America: Civil War.” Described as “a coming-of-age story,” the film finds Peter Parker attending his high school for gifted kids, trying to impress his new benefactor Tony Stark and also dealing with a pesky arch enemy, the Vulture.
Directed by Jon Watts (“Clown”) from a script by John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein (“Vacation”), "Spider-Man: Homecoming" stars Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, Marisa Tomei, and Robert Downey Jr. The film opens July 7.
