Spider-Man first made his MCU debut in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, much to the approval and rejoice of many Spider-Fans alike. Along with a new actor, he was given a new suit, courtesy of his mentor and father figure within the universe, Tony Stark.

Upgraded with all new gadgets and gizmos that put past Spidey suits to shame. The new “Stark Suit” as it was dubbed, has been loved and cosplayed by many fans for its sleek design and the fact it's very much akin to Steve Ditko's classic Spider-Man suit. While also looking nice, the suits usefulness to Spider-Man's crime-fighting career cannot go unstated. So without further ado, here are 10 Gadgets in the Spider-Man Homecoming suit, ranked.

10 Heater

When Peter first encounters the Vulture, this encounter, as most Spider-Man villain interactions the first time around, doesn't go well. Peter is swooped up by The Vulture and is dropped into a lake, encumbered by his own parachute that activated on its way down. Luckily he was saved by Tony Stark who sent an Iron Man drone. Here is where Peter discovers that his suit has a heater, which instantly drys up his cold and wet body.

This gadget is ranked at #10 because despite how nifty it was in this situation, there most likely won't be many times Peter will need to use this feature on the suit. Then again, he will be facing Hydro-Man in this summers Spider-Man: Far From Home, so maybe it'll find itself a bit more useful there.

9 Spider-Signal

The Spider-Signal has been a staple and unsung apart of Spidey's vast arsenal of tiny little gadgets since its first appearance in The Amazing Spider-Man #3 way back in 1963. Used for illuminating criminals in the midst of their illegal acts and providing some much needed light in hard to see areas, the Spider-Signal has time and time again given Spidey not only a tactical advantage but a little bit of flair.

With such a great reputation behind it, many fans were amazed to see the Spider-Signal appear in the end credit scene of Captain America: Civil War, with Peter discovering the gadget on the web shooters that Tony Stark had built for him, unlike its comic counterpart which is located on Spidey's belt. While it was a cool little Easter egg for fans to drool over, that's where it's uses ended. However, with seemingly more night time set pieces in Spider-Man: Far From Home, hopefully, the Spider-Signal can get some more limelight.

8 Insta-Fit

Throughout his years in the comics, Peter Parker has always fairly easily slipped in and out of his spider suit, but occasionally found himself in the awkward situation where doing this was more than difficult. More often than not, having to wear his suit under his clothes, this would prove to be his downfall in the secret identity department from time to time. However, his MCU counterpart may have this problem solved.

Taking a page out of Back To The Future 2, Spidey's suit in Spider-Man Homecoming has an Insta-Fit feature, which allows the suit to slip on easily and then instantly adjust to the wearer. This makes alleyway changes a breeze. One push of a button and bam, Peter is crime fighting ready. It's not gonna help crime-fighting, but Peter sure appreciates it.

7 Insta-Kill

Any Spidey fan can tell you that one of Peter's rules when he goes out to fight crime and villainy is that he does not kill. Spider-Man will find any other way of defeating a villain or saving someone just to avoid killing someone. Not that it hasn't happened in the past, much to Spider-Man's dismay. It should be no surprise then that Peter Parker was a little more than uncomfortable with the fact his suit had been built with an Insta-Kill mode in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Giving him the appearance of a hostile Hal 9000 with his constricted eyes with a glowing red flair to them, Spider-Man definitely looks intimidating as hell, but that really isn't Peter's taste. He'd much rather figure out some other way of defeating his enemies rather than lay them out on morgue tables. While Peter may disagree with what it stands for, Insta-Kill is still mighty useful.

6 Parachute

Some fans of Spider-Man who are really only versed in his big-screen adventures may be surprised that Spidey is no stranger to parachutes. In fact, in the comics, the “Web Parachute” is one of Spidey's signature web configurations, often helping Spidey out in a bind where he finds himself unable to web to or grab onto anything around him while in the air.

In the first encounter between Spider-Man and The Vulture, Spidey found himself a little higher up than he wanted and his suit activated a (sadly-non webbing) parachute that deployed from his back spider insignia. If Spidey's future adventures in any way mirror those of his 616 counterpart, he's sure gonna need it.

5 Spider-Drone

Spider-Man and robots don't often agree. Much to do with the fact that he often finds himself on their bad side, with such villains as the Tinkerer, Doctor Doom, and Doc Ock throwing robotic enemies his way. Despite often smashing his way through them, he does get the occasional chance to be on the good side of one. One such example can be found implanted in his suit in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

The Reconnaissance Drone, or Droney as Peter playfully names it, finds itself at #5 on this ranking for its relative easy storage and almost limitless usage. Perfect for stealth like missions where a man dressed in red tights on a wall might be easily spotted, Droney can go places that even Spidey himself can't. That and its ability to put itself way in Spidey's chest insignia makes Droney the perfect gadget for Peter and something that hopefully Peter Parker of Earth-616 can pick up as well.

4 Karen

Throughout his years as Spider-Man, Peter Parker has always really flown it solo, despite what the MCU might lead you to believe. This being the case, he often found himself alone with his thoughts or just talking to himself directly when out patrolling at night. Tony Stark, being Tony Stark, thought that if he was gonna hook Peter up, he wasn't going to cut corners.

Giving Peter a suit A.I., much like Jarvis or Friday in his own, Tony had given the teenage boy the thing he secretly needed the most...a girl who would talk to him. With Karen acting as an assistant and as a friend to depend upon, she's definitely one of his more important suit functions for more personal reasons to Peter. While some fans took problem with her inclusion into the suit, you can't deny that she didn't help him out of a few spots.

3 GPS

Being from New York, Peter Parker definitely knows his way around the city, as anyone from the big apple can tell you.  This fact may make this next gadget seem a bit obsolete for the New York-bound hero, but if Spider-Man's time in the MCU has shown us anything, he definitely isn't confined to the place.

Thus, having a GPS implanted not only in the suit to help track it, but a neat navigation system to help Spidey find where he's going is a no brainer. Used to help find the weapon warehouse in DC, without the use of his in-suit GPS, Spidey would've been lost and The Vulture definitely wouldn't have been caught by the end. This little boost gives his GPS #3 on the ranking.

2 Visor

One of the most famous and instantly recognizable shots in the MCU are Tony Stark's in helmet visor scenes. Giving us a look through Tony's eyes, we can see what his helmet displays to him as he's operating his suit. Naturally, Tony would give Peter this upgrade as well, allowing Peter to control and navigate his way through New York with a heads up display.

This makes its way up to the #2 spot on this list simply because of the ease it grants Peter to function his suit. Everything he needs is right there up for him to see, from criminal records to building specs, it's an undeniably useful tool for Spidey to use. ‘Nuff said.

1 Web Shooters

Coming in at #1, to no one's surprise, is Spider-Man's web shooters. They, without a doubt, are Spidey's most iconic and most important gadget. Used to swing from building to building, snag criminals, and create nifty web novelties in a bind, the web shooters are just what the Spider-Man ordered. First appearing in Amazing Fantasy #15, the web shooters have been apart of the character since the beginning and they aren't going away.

Getting a major upgrade courtesy of Tony Stark in Spider-Man Homecoming, the Peter Parker of Earth-199999 found himself with a variety of new web modes and configurations to choose from. Ranging from web bombs to taser webbing, the shooters have got it all. Even without all these upgrades, the web shooters have and always will be the most useful gadget in Spidey's arsenal. Excelsior.
