"Spider-Man: Homecoming" Eyes Logan Marshall-Green as Additional Villain

The "Spider-Man: Homecoming" cast continues to grow with the addition of "Prometheus" star Logan Marshall-Green. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Marshall-Green in talks to play a villain alongside Michael Keaton, who is also circling a role in the film.

In addition to his role in "Prometheus," Marshall-Green has appeared in "Quarry," "Devil," "Brooklyn's Finest" and "Madame Bovary." He also recently starred in "The Invitation."

In addition to Marshall-Green, "Spider-Man: Homecoming's" cast continues to grow. Recent weeks have seen Laura Harrier and Disney Channel star Zendaya join the film's cast. According to the initial report, Zendaya will play a "key role" as a character named Michelle. Additionally, Tony Revolori recently joined the cast as "part of Peter Parker's high school crowd," while Keaton will appear in the film as an as-yet-unknown role. Just this week, the film also added Martin Starr and Donald Glover.

Directed by Jon Watts and starring Tom Holland as Spider-Man/Peter Parker and Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, "Spider-Man: Homecoming" is scheduled for release on July 7, 2017.
