With the release of Spider-Man: Homecoming just around the corner, Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures are ramping up the marketing campaign for the highly anticipated franchise reboot. Following the hilarious TV ads that aired during the NBA Finals, a new cross-promotional spot released by Audi follows Peter Parker as he takes his driver's test -- with a little help from Tony Stark, of course.

In the promo, Tom Holland's teen hero kills time at a driving school by watching a video of Spider-Man driving behind the wheel. When the instructor (played by comedian J.B. Smoove) comes to get him, he's impressed to see Peter with an Audi. It's then that Peter reveals it's a prototype that belongs to his "friend" Tony. It's a smart way to remind viewers of the mentoring role Robert Downey Jr.'s Stark will play in the film, while also continuing Marvel's close ties with Audi.

With a little more than two weeks until Homecoming hits theaters, the film is on a course for a projected U.S. opening weekend of somewhere between $90 million and $108 million.
