"Spider-Man: Homecoming" has cast "Silicon Valley" and "Party Down" actor Martin Starr. Starr was a lead on NBC's "Freaks & Geeks" alongside John Francis Daley, who also happens to be co-writing the new "Spider-Man" film.

According to Deadline, Starr's role hasn't been specified. He'll be joining recent additions Donald Glover and Logan Marshall-Green -- who's been cast as a "secondary villain" -- for the film, alongside Tom Holland, Robert Downey Jr, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Michael Barbieri, Kenneth Choi, Tony Revolori and Marisa Tomei.

Curiously, Deadline's report says Keaton's definitively been cast as the Vulture -- though that's yet to be confirmed by other outlets.
