The Green Goblin is quite possibly Spider-Man's most iconic and most fearsome foe. Throughout the web-slinger's history, it seems he's eternally fated to have to take on this Halloween reject over and over again. No matter the series it always seems like their bouts are some of Spidey's greatest struggles, and for good reason too.

The Green Goblin has some of the best gadgets in any Marvel villain's inventory, let alone any Spidey villain's.

10 STANDARD GUNS

While he may be the master of gizmos and gadgets, the Green Goblin of course is no stranger to the danger that is the average firearm. Throughout the years it has been shown that when out of the Green Goblin costume Norman Osborn must stay ready and well protected, especially in his line of work.

This means having hidden firearms on him at all times. While not as effective as everything else on this list the Goblin has on this list it definitely gets the job done when he needs it.

9 HALLUCINOGENIC TOOTHPASTE

While this gadget was mostly used as a joke in the comic it's utilized in it just goes to show that the Green Goblin is able to make a weapon out of just about anything. In this case, he goes as far as to make his own special brand of toothpaste just for that Peter Parker kid. In fact, he slipped it to him when he least expected it.

This special toothpaste was laced with a combination of hallucinogens and a specially designed RNA compound and resulted in Peter getting hit with some of the worst dreams that he could ever imagine.

8 TOY FROG

For anyone that still doesn't believe that the Green Goblin can truly make a weapon out of just about everything, this one might be the thing to finally steer that thought into the other direction. The electrically-charged toy frog or the sonic toad is literally what the name lets on to, an electrically-charged toy frog.

It doesn't get more simple than that and it doesn't get goofier either. Then again, the Green Goblin isn't the sanest guy around so this one is going to have to slide. Especially cause it's actually proven to be quite the useful tool against Spidey.

7 RAZOR BATS

One of Green Goblin's most iconic weapons in his arsenal is his patented (Unless Batman has anything to say about it) razor bats. This isn't just one of the Goblin's most iconic gadgets but one of his oldest as well. It's obviously very effective as he's been using it ever since his first appearance in the original Amazing Spider-Man comic.

These weaponized bats are of course exactly what the name lets on, much like with the case of the electrically- charged toy frogs. However, these bats can circle enemies and even are able to emit a blinding black smoke.

6 GHOST BOMB

Another one of the Green Goblin's more goofy weapons is the absolutely adorable ghost bomb. These bombs go by another name that is a lot more fear invoking and that name is the asphyxiation grenade. While the design and the usual name for this weapon may be on the goofier side it is actually another very useful tool in the bag of the Goblin's tricks.

Originally called the Goblin Surprise by the Goblin himself, the ghost bomb creates an air-tight seal around whoever it's thrown at. This results in a loss of oxygen for whoever is caught. The seal around it is also able to be grabbed bag style by the Goblin.

5 BLAST GLOVES

One tool that is constantly in the possession of the Goblin that is in such plain sight that many forget they're even there are his blast gloves. These gloves have many names including the Goblin Sparks, the Goblin Blast, and the Sparkler Spray.

These gloves emit a blast of seeming electrical-charged energy that can be used at point-blank range or long range. It was shown that Norman even is able to channel this charge through his civilian attire.

4 KINGSLAYER WALKING TANK

One of the most badass looking things in the Green Goblin's arsenal is something that isn't seen going around with him on his usual outings. In fact these, Kingslayer Walking Tanks were actually meant for retail and are able to be purchased by whoever decides to fork over the money.

Besides the retail purchases, the Green Goblin's other identity, Norman Osborne has found great use for these tanks over at his base of operations Oscorp. They are also used at other locations he is based at.

3 CARNAGE SYMBIOTE

One of the more recent "gadgets that the Green Goblin has used is the Carnage symbiote. This symbiote was taken as one of Gobby's newest "foolproof" plans to put an end to Spidey in case he interfered with his plan. This suit wasn't just for show and it didn't simply enhance the Goblin's abilities.

This symbiote costume enhanced all of Gobby's preexisting gadgets and gave him an edge over Spider-Man. This created things such as carnage bombs which Gobby could talk to and latch onto his opponent via a bite.

2 PUMPKIN BOMBS

The Pumpkin Bombs, Goblin Bombs, or Goblin Lanterns are probably the most iconic piece of the classic Green Goblin's weapon stache. They also have tons of different variations, making them one of the best tools in his arsenal as well.

1 GOBLIN GLIDER

Comics goblin glider

For those that don't think the pumpkin bombs are iconic enough, there's the classic Goblin Glider or what it used to be called the Goblin Broomstick. This is the Goblin's go to mode of transportation.

This flying glider is not only able to fly for long distances at unimaginable heights but it can also store various weapons, has great durability, can hold great weights, and of course, is able to be used as a weapon in itself as well.
