Everyone Wants Spider-Man Dead in Gameplay Launch Trailer

The latest gameplay trailer for PlayStation 4's Spider-Man is here and the deck is looking stacked against the friendly neighborhood wall-crawler.

After saving a young Miles Morales from danger, Spider-Man takes the fight directly to Kingpin leading to the powerful New York crime lord's arrest. However, with Wilson Fisk locked away, a whole new host of supervillains rise out of the woodwork in their own bids to take over the city with Spider-Man caught in the crossfire.

"Is there anyone left in New York who doesn't want me dead?" ponders Spidey as he battles enemies like Mister Negative, Rhino, and Scorpion across the streets of Manhattan.

The latest Spider-Man game is an open-world action game starring Marvel's flagship superhero as he balances constantly saving the day along with his responsibilities as a college student. As New York City descends into turf war following Kingpin's arrest, the webslinger will find himself tested more than ever before. The all-new, original story was developed by longtime Spider-Man writers Dan Slott and Christos Gage.

Marvel’s Spider-Man is developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony exclusively for the PlayStation 4. It is scheduled for release on September 7.
