The Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer not only introduced Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio, it also provided a first look at the state of the Marvel Cinematic Universe following the events of Avengers: Endgame. So, of course, the footage has been scrutinized for any clues about everything from the true identities of the film's villains to who might have perished in the final battle against Thanos. Plenty of Easter eggs have already been uncovered, but fans also theorize the trailer revealed evidence of the Fantastic Four's imminent arrival in the MCU.

Disney's acquisition of Fox's key assets is almost finalized, which means the film rights to the Fantastic Four soon will be under the control of Marvel Studos. But shortly after the planned purchase was announced in late 2017, it was theorized that Spider-Man: Homecoming had already opened the door to Marvel's First Family with the sale of Avengers Tower.

We wondered whether the unnamed buyer could be Mister Fantastic himself, Reed Richards, who would rebrand the tower as the Baxter Building. Now, some fans believe Far From Home's first trailer has revealed the renovations that will transform the distinctive Avengers Tower into the iconic headquarters, and home, of the Fantastic Four.

In the footage, Spider-Man swings through New York City, past the "Battle of New York" statue at Grand Central Station. The shot is no accident. It actually shows the sale of Avengers Tower (née Stark Tower) wasn't a mere plot device in Homecoming to move Spider-Man and the Vulture into place for a climactic battle.

It's possible that, amid Peter Parker's European escapades in Far From Home, the identity of the the building's new owner will be revealed. However, it could also be a thread that serves little more of a purpose than to encourage speculation among the franchise faithful.
