Spider-Man: Far From Home has become something of a bittersweet movie. While it was another hugely entertaining MCU adventure and another great solo film for Spider-Man, it also seems to mark the end of the wall-crawler in the MCU. It's a sad fact that fans have to come to terms with, but at least we have this great final chapter to remember him by.

As with any MCU film, Far From Home rewards multiple viewings with plenty of Easter Eggs and fun extras. With the movie's home video release on the horizon, you can soon look back at all the moments you might have missed. Here are some of the great hidden details in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

10 A New Phase

Despite being a fun high school-set adventure, Far From Home had a daunting task within the MCU. Not only was it the first film to follow the massive and game-changing Avengers: Endgame, but it also served as the final chapter of Phase 3 and the Infinity Saga.

In many ways, the movie does feel like an epilogue and setting the stage for what's to come. This is referenced early in the film as Betty Brant gives the morning news at school. When speaking of the aftermath of "The Blip", Betty says it's now time to move on to the new phase.

9 Captain America Is Dead?

Dealing with the emotional impact of Endgame was not going to be an easy job, but Far From Home actually managed to make us laugh at losing some of our favorite heroes. The movie opens with an overly cheesy tribute to the fallen heroes who saved the world.

While we, of course, see the likes of Iron Man and Black Widow featured, some fans were likely surprised to see Captain America in the tribute. We last saw Cap as an old man, after finally getting his happy ending with Peggy. Though some thought this meant Cap died in the months in between the films, it's more likely that the other heroes said he was lost in order to protect him.

8 Earth 616

The film's early trailers suggested this movie would introduce a pretty amazing concept to the MCU with the existence of the multiverse. Upon meeting Quentin Beck aka Mysterio, he tells Peter that he is from an Earth in a different reality.

Beck explains his reality is Earth-833 while Peter lives in Earth-616. While this all ends up being a bunch of lies, it is a fun nod to the comics as Earth-616 is indeed the main continuity within the Marvel Universe.

7 Dimitri

Given the revelations by the end of the film, watching Far From Home can feel like a bit of a paranoid experience. You're always questioning what's real, what's a lie, and whether people are really who they say they are.

One mysterious character is Dimitri, an operative working with Nick Fury. Many fans have pointed out he shares the same first name as Spider-Man villain Chameleon, who can impersonate anyone. Given the fact that Fury is revealed to have been a Skrull, it could possibly be hinting at the villain's true identity which might be revealed in another film.

6 Morris Bench

One of the most memorable action sequences in the film comes when Peter's class is visiting Venice and they are attacked by a water monster. The creature is later explained to be an Elemental which is then revealed to be made up by Beck.

Fans have pointed out that the monster also bears a resemblance to the villain Hydro-Man which the film nods to. As the students discuss the monster, Flash reads an online article about a man named Morris Bench who was exposed to an underwater generator and got "hydro powers". Bench is indeed Hydro-Man in the comics.

5 Fallen Idol

The highlight of the film comes when Mysterio unleashes his illusion abilities on Peter which creates a mind-bending sequence in which Peter does not know what to believe. It is a moment straight out of the comics, filled with memorable imagery.

One quick moment that you may have missed is the statue of Mysterio looming large over a fallen statue which seems to resemble Captain America. This seems to be another reference to the future of the MCU and the uncertainty with all the original heroes now gone.

4 In-Flight Movies

The Spider-Man movies have been great at giving a glimpse at how the rest of the world reacts to the events of the MCU. There are some great touches throughout the movie like this, but one of the most interesting is the in-flight movie selections Peter is browsing on the airplane.

We see a documentary on Tony Stark which gives Peter pause, but there is a quick look at other fun documentary titles. There is "The Snap", "Finding Wakanda", "Hunting Hydra", and "Nova: Einstein Rosen Bridges with Dr. Erik Selvig".

3 Background Actor

Mysterio in Spider-Man: Far From Home

Though comic book readers might have suspected Quentin Beck was not the hero he claimed to be, the reveal of his backstory and his real plan was truly great. However, the movie did hint at his deception even before Beck and Peter meet.

During the sequence in Venice, just before the water Elemental attacks, we see a man dressed as a tourist standing behind Peter. For a split second, as the man turns, we can see it is Beck in disguise. Clearly, he was keeping an eye on Peter for some time.

2 What's Next?

Spider-Man: Far From Home

Even without Spider-Man, Phase 4 of the MCU seems like it's going to be a lot of fun. There are some really exciting projects featuring new and old heroes and this movie seems to be subtlety getting audiences pumped for what's to come.

At the end of the end, we see a billboard that reads "1…2…3…?" and above that "We can't wait to show you what's next." While it seems to be a nod to what's come before and what's next, some fans have pointed out that the coloring of the numbers seems to correspond to each member of the Fantastic Four.

1 WTF

Spider-Man: Far From Home

Though Peter defeats Mysterio and stops his evil plan, even in death the villain seems to have won. In the shocking mid-credit scene, we see Beck recorded a final message in which he blames Spider-Man for the attack and exposes his true identity to the world.

With his world torn apart, Peter can only exclaim "What the f—" before we cut to credits. Interestingly, this mirrors the final shot of Peter in Spider-Man: Homecoming as Aunt May learns he is Spider-Man and screams the same thing. Both instances show Peter's biggest secret being uncovered.
