The first trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home has finally arrived, and as fans have come to expect, it brought with it some new questions regarding the anticipated sequel. Somewhat unexpectedly, though, at least one mystery set up in the US. trailer has already been answered by the International teaser.

The US trailer, released roughly one minute ahead of the International cut, spends its opening scenes setting up Peter's class trip to Europe, including a sequence that sees the young hero deciding to leave his Spider-Man costume behind. Of course, he's eventually shown wearing it after Nick Fury crashes his vacation to recruit the young Avenger, but we're left wondering whether the super spy brought the outfit with him.

The answer is actually much simpler, and a little more fun. S.H.I.E.L.D. isn't responsible for Spidey being able to gear up and fight Mysterio while overseas; Peter can thank May Parker for that. As revealed in the International trailer, Peter's aunt noticed that her nephew left his outfit behind and, being the helpful and supportive type, she packed it for him.

Last seen in Avengers: Infinity War, Holland's Spider-Man was reduced to dust when Thanos snapped his fingers and decimated half the population of the universe. He will return in Avengers: Endgame, arriving April 26.

Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: Far From Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Michael Keaton, Jake Gyllenhaal, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Remy Hii and Tony Revolori. It opens July 5.
