The days are counting down until we finally get to Avengers: Infinity War and with it we get to see team-ups between pretty much every hero that has been on the silver screen as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As proof that this Avengers movie will be quite unlike anything we've seen before, an image has leaked which features Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange and Tom Holland's Spider-Man in the midst of an important, possibly action-filled moment that has more than a few clues for the direction of the film.

The image originates on the r/marvelstudios subreddit, where user /u/gradyj123 notes that his friend is doing overseas experience in America and sent the image to the New Zealand based redditor, but later comments confirm that this friend is not involved with the production of the film. Other comments note that the name Jesse Olivares, a key video assist engineer, is noticeable on the monitor and unfortunately they may find themselves in hot water over the leaking of this image, whether it was their fault or not.

Responsibility aside, there's two very important bits of information in this small image. The first is that Spider-Man appears to be wearing the Iron Spider costume, or a version thereof, which was presented to him as part of a potential Avengers membership by Tony Stark at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming. The other interesting thing about the image is Doctor Strange's dialogue, as he's saying, "Peter! Protect them. They're not dead." while flying towards Spider-Man. This seems to hint at a big heroic moment for Spider-Man in the upcoming film, possibly one where he gets to save multiple Avengers from Thanos or his children, the Black Order.

Then again, there's always the chance that this is merely a very elaborate hoax image.
