The friendly skies got a little more heroic recently when Jetstar Airways unveiled a Spider-Man: Homecoming-themed airplane and promptly filled it with Spider-Man cosplayers. The identical cosplayers didn’t find themselves on the plane by chance, of course. They applied to catch a ride on the airplane that was headed from Tokyo to Osaka, Japan as part of a marketing campaign to promote Spider-Man: Homecoming.RELATED: Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 Will Feature A Different Marvel HeroThere was only one stipulation to catching this ride, though, and it was that every passenger had to dress up in their best Spider-Man cosplay. It goes without saying that pictures were, of course, taken:

Spider-Man: Homecoming follows Peter Parker through his high school days just as he is taking up the mantle of Spider-Man. After assisting in the skirmish seen in Captain America: Civil War, Peter is enlisted by Tony Stark to help in the hero group’s crime-fighting endeavors, but soon runs afoul of Adrian Toomes, the Vulture.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is a production of Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios directed by Jon Watts and starring Tom Holland as Spider-Man, Michael Keaton as Vulture, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Zendaya as Michelle, Marisa Tomei as May Parker and Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man.
