At any given comic book convention, there's no shortage of Spider-Man cosplay. Well, thanks to one mega-fan, web-heads now have a chance to make their costume stand apart from the pack. Lenses Factory HK has debuted a custom Spidey mask that boasts hyper-realistic, moving shutter lenses, just as they're depicted in "Captain America: Civil War."
The talented cosplayer is selling a limited set of the mechanical shutter eye lenses -- however, cosplayers looking to get their paws on them will have to act fast: The amazing Spider-Man lens-crafter will only be selling five assembled mask/lens combos come April 2.
Whether you're glaring down your own Green Goblin or your Spidey Senses are merely tingling, you can control the lenses within the face mask. Take a look at a video demonstration, below:
"You can see, even if I’m singing, the lenses won’t move except [if] I trigger the mechanism behind the face-shell with my jaw,” the cosplayer explains in his Facebook post.
Lenses Factory HK has previously designed many other impressive, innovative Spidey gear, including this awesome six-piece suit:
Emotive Spider-Man eyes have long been a part of the character's design within the comics and only recently came to the big screen (rather famously) with Tom Holland in "Captain America: Civil War."
Debuting in theaters July 7, the next Spider-Man film, “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” is a production of Columbia Pictures directed by Jon Watts that stars Tom Holland as Spider-Man, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Angourie Rice as Betty Brant, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May and Michael Keaton as the Vulture.
