Marvel Studios Head of Visual Development Ryan Meinerding shared a look at the hi-tech interior of Spider-Man's mask from Spider-Man: Homecoming 

"This is the Homecoming mask turned inside out—I did this design for the scene where Peter and Ned hack the suit. It wasn’t really shown, but I used it for the damaged version of the suit I posted earlier," Meinerding shared on Instagram, referring to a prior post regarding Spider-Man: Far from HomeMeinerding's photo shows what appear to be circuitry, copper and even electrodes in the mask's thin material.

While Spider-Man's mask may be one of the most recognizable in the world, the inside of his mask in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has not previously been shared. As this suit was provided to Spider-Man by Tony Stark, the high-tech design of the inside make a lot of sense.

Helmed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: Far from Home stars Tom Holland, Samuel L. Jackson, Zendaya, Cobie Smulders, Jon Favreau, J.B. Smoove, Jacob Batalon and Martin Starr, with Marisa Tomei and Jake Gyllenhaal. The film is now available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD.
