Marvel Studios Head of Visual Development Ryan Meinerding shared concept art for a battle-damaged version of the Stark Suit meant to appear in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

"Here are some closeups of designs for the damaged Stark Suit," Meinerding wrote on Instagram. "This wasn’t used in the movie, but it was incredibly fun to do. I designed the inside of the suit for Homecoming and was able to show a bit of that here."

Despite this damaged variant of the costume not appearing in the film, the art provides some visual context behind the suit's high-tech roots. Originally created by Tony Stark, the multimillion-dollar suit made its debut in 2016's Captain America: Civil War as a gift to Peter Parker following his agreement to assist Stark in his fight against Captain America and his allies. Most recently, the Stark Suit appeared in Spider-Man: Far From Home and was replaced by a red and black variant of Peter's own design.
