Spider-Man 4, Sgt. Rock, Sorrow: Nov 10th Comic Reel

It looks like Black Cat will feature in the film. Mania.com reports Rachel McAdams met with producers. According to their source, she's up for the role of "Felicia Hardy." While this is still a rumor, Slashfilm points to an article in The Observer in which British actress Romola Garai mentions auditioning for a part in the film.

Directed by Sam Raimi, release date: May 5th, 2011

According to the Heat Vision blog at The Hollywood Reporter, Francis Lawerence has been hired to direct a film based on the DC Comics war character. It seems producer Joel Silver has been trying to make a "Sgt. Rock" film for sometime. This interation of the project will send the character -- no word on the rest of Easy Company -- into the future. Heat Vision explains, "a big budget always was an obstacle and, 'Inglourious Basterds' notwithstanding, period war movies have not been in vogue in Hollywood for years, unless it was a more serious contemplation of the subject like 'Saving Private Ryan.' Also, American jingoism went out of style after 9/11; even this summer’s G.I. Joe movie dropped the toy’s 'A Real American Hero' tagline and made the action team internationally focused."

Rick Remender's graphic novel has been picked up by Twisted Pictures for development as a feature, according to Shock Till You Drop. They describe the project as being "set in the eponymous town of Nevada that was ravaged by nuclear testing. The sign at the front of the town reads 'Population Zero.' However, the locals have a very different story. When a young woman, searching for her Native American ancestry, stumbles into town, she soon discovers that not all that is buried is dead."

David S. Goyer tells MTV News that 20th Century Fox is "still trying to figure out what they want to do, whether or not they'll do a different 'X-Men' movie next or another 'Wolverine' movie next. If they want to make 'Magneto,' that's awesome. In the meantime, I'm just going to move on with my other projects." The project has been on the backburner for some time.

Release date: TBA

Michael Ausiello at Entertainment Weekly says Pam Grier will appear on the show as Suicide Squad head honcho and occasional White Queen Amanda Waller in the second half of the JSA two-parter. Meanwhile, Kryptonsite has the titles for the thirteenth and fourteenth episode of the season.

New episode: Friday

Dolph Lundgren is looking to be in the film. He talked with MTV News and mentioned, ""I've talked to the producers about doing something for 'Conan.'" What this "something" is remains to be seen.

Release date: 2011

While the Black Cat rumor is big, there's one casting choice I want to know: Sinestro. I'll admit I have "Spider-Man" fatigue after the third film and have more of an emotional investment in "Green Lantern," but I think that casting choice will make or break the picture. Meanwhile, if any of you in the great, wide Internet discover something awesome, disheartening, let us know! Take credit, come up with a clever nickname, or go anonymous. The choice is yours. Fresh rumors and movie news every weekday morning. I am Erik Amaya bracing for the future threat of Sgt. Rock ... in the Future!
