SPIDER-MAN 3

If you want major spoilers, the new article from Premiere Magazine (dutifully scanned in over at Just Jared) has 'em in spades, talking symbiotes and plot points.

Also, if you perform just the right search at Amazon.com you can check out images of characters, some of which we've seen and some new ones (Topher probably won't be that purple).

TRANSFORMERS

Director Michael Bay posted a note on his message board of some interest: "Finished shooting end of Sept. on budget, just came under $300,000 ... I just finished the new teaser for Christmas and I think it's AWESOME! The trailer mixing Guru who does all the big summer movies turned to me and said with a little more ump[h] -- it was 'f**king awesome.' I think some of my films have had good teasers but this one is just makes a statement. It's hard edged to show we are not a silly 'toy' movie. We show just hints of robots -- and almost none of our epic shots are in this teaser, but the movie just looks big. I had a room full of 20 Transformers adult geeks, and they all applauded at the end. It comes out the 22nd -- see it in the theater! Let me know what you think."

Meanwhile, Yahoo! Movies has posted the first official still photo from the film, showing Scorponok chasing actor Tyrese Gibson.

Finally, if you're a registered user at TFW2005, you can check out behind the scenes stuff from an Air Force periodical, posted on the TFW2005 message boards.

THE FLASH

Actor Ryan Reynolds isn't so sure he'll end up in a tight red suit, according to quotes from Superhero Hype. "It's a hundred and eight billion dollar movie if they do it," Reynolds said. "I don't know how that stuff works and I don't really get involved with it. I think if they do it, they're going to see it through the eyes of Wally West and its inanimate world [sic]. I can hear people falling asleep while I'm talking about this. I honestly don't know. It's just such a huge undertaking. I'd love to wear a red unitard sometime, but I can do that on my own."

HEROES

Two Golden Globe noms? We've got the scoop here at CBR.

THAT'S A WRAP

We can't do this without you. The rumors, the scoops, the set photos -- they're all fueled by passionate fans emailing in the goods. The ones who ask, "What do you mean your sister's dating somebody who works for Miles Millar?" The ones who know the code names of movie projects and scour city permit filings for them. The devoted, the involved. Fans, just like you. Whatever you know, we wanna know, and whether you want your name shouted to the web's rafters or kept closer than a classified report, we've got you covered like a comforter. Broadcasting live from Los Angeles, this is your humble scribe Hannibal Tabu (web site, MySpace blog) saying thank you for your time and indulgence, and "enough talk -- let's go make with the 'biff' and the 'pow' already."
