Topher Grace, who played Eddie Brock/Venom in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 3, gave a hilariously trolling response to a fan question about whether the actor will be appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home (which will famously be including characters from the past Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield Spider-Man films) by coming up with a hilariously elaborate plotline for the upcoming movie.

The former That 70s Show actor was on Reddit promoting the second season of his latest sitcom, Home Economics, by doing an Ask Me Anything, and the star gave a clever reply that has gone viral on social media.

The Reddit user grocho asked, "Are you in the new Spider-man movie?" and Grace replied, "Please keep it between us but yes, I am in it."

He then came up with an elaborate new scenario for the film, beginning with, "The plot starts with Peter Parker (Tom Holland) bummed that everyone knows his identity and then some crazy shit happens with Dr. Strange and Dr. Octopus (Alfred Molina) comes into his dimension. Then Electro and the Green Goblin hop out of one of those 'energy circles' and they’re like “It’s spider stompin time”."

Things get crazier, though, when Grace and the current Venom, Tom Hardy, make an appearance, "Then Tom Hardy and I pop out and battle each other and I win (obvi), it’s like not even a fight I just kick his ass immediately."

The actor, who famously edits films in his spare time and shows them surreptitiously (because obviously he cannot officially show his edited together versions of officially released films), then took the story into a whole other direction, "Not to give too much away but there are also some actors from the original 70s Spiderman show, Aquaman and Batman (Affleck, not Keaton) crossover, and thanks to Disney Han Solo’s ghost from Rise of Skywalker, and that Eve robot from Wall-E. Again, please keep between us."

Grace's comment received universal acclaim on the reddit thread, with one poster stating, "This has been by far one of my favorite responses" and another adding, "Topher Grace just became my favorite actor," while a whole bunch of posters made references to Grace's character, Eric Forman, from That 70s Show, like, "If this doesn’t happen I’m gonna put my foot up your ass!" (the threat Eric's father, Red Forman, would give to Eric all of the time on that series).
