As Marvel Studios gradually begins to resume its various productions, principal photography has quietly begun on Tom Holland's third solo Spider-Man film.

Holland posted a video on Instagram as he landed in Atlanta, GA to join the production for the Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel, which began earlier this month in New York City. While Holland's post has since been deleted from his own account, it has been shared by various fan accounts following the actor.

"Okay, so we just landed in Atlanta," Holland announced with a laugh from the airport tarmac. "And it's time for Spider-Man 3! Let's go!"

Originally slated to begin principal photography in July before the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, second unit filming began recently in NYC for establishing shots without the main cast. With the production having relocated to Atlanta, principal photography is expected to run until March 2021, with additional filming locations planned for Los Angeles and Iceland.

Directed by Jon Watts, the currently untitled sequel to Spider-Man: Far From Home stars Tom Holland and Zendaya. The film arrives in theaters Dec. 17, 2021.
