BAD PLANET

Actor Thomas Jane is working with creator Steve Niles on a new graphic novel project that's also being used as a springboard for a feature film, according to a story that ran here on Comic Book Resources. "Raw Entertainment is Tom and I working together to make medium budget genre movies," said Niles. "We want to be the one to put out some smart, fun horror films, some noir stuff, a biker movie, ya know, a little bit of everything." "Basically, Steve makes me want to be a better man," said Jane.

FANTASTIC FOUR

Actress Jessica Alba was interviewed by Marie Claire magazine, where she talked a little bit about the movie.

Fox Movie Channel plans to keep the publicity deluge going with three programs about the film airing in July: "Casting Session," "Making A Scene," and "World Premiere."

THE BATMAN

The latest animated incarnation of Bruce Wayne is headed straight to DVD as he battles the best-known vampire of all. "The Batman vs. Dracula" will head to shelves on October 18th, according to Comics Continuum.

X-MEN 3X-Men Films is talking about exactly when Xavier's students will once more go before the lens. "Sources say that 'X-Men 3' will start principal photography at Hatley Castle (Royal Roads University) in Victoria, Canada at the end of this month! The building will serve as Xavier's School for The Gifted. Though the shoot is expected to start in last week of July, it's believed that some photography (2nd-Unit) could possibly start before that. This a reunion of sorts for cast and crew because the was location was also used for 'X2.' Filming there is expected to last for approximately 3 weeks. The cast and crew will then move on to Vancouver Film Studios. As we speak, the writers Simon Kinberg and Zak Penn (Who are at this year's Comic-Con) are working around the clock on the script."
