Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have been keeping the plot of Spider-Man 3 under wraps, but a new video may have hinted that a long-standing rumor could come to pass.

Sony Channel Latin America posted a video compiling scenes from Sam Raimi's original Spider-Man trilogy, as well as Marc Webb's Amazing Spider-Man films and Jon Watts' Spider-Man: Homecoming and Far From Home. "Who is your favorite Spider-Man? You don't have to choose — in the Marvel Multiverse, anything can happen," the video says, adding that "in Spider-Man 3 you will quite possibly see everyone — yes — the three Peter Parker saving the world together."

The video has since been made private, but it may give weight to the rumors that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will be reprising their roles as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. The idea that Tom Holland's Peter Parker would be entering the Multiverse has been brought by fans after Benedict Cumberbatch and Jamie Foxx were announced as reprising their respective roles of Doctor Strange and Electro for the film. Spider-Man 3 will also take place before Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which will be helmed by Raimi and sees Strange traveling the Multiverse.

The video concluded with a message that fans will "find out more very soon." Given that Sony has a panel at the Comic-Con Experience this weekend in Brazil, more concrete details about Spider-Man 3's plot and cast could be on the horizon.

Directed by Jon Watts, the currently untitled sequel to Spider-Man: Far From Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jamie Foxx and Benedict Cumberbatch. The film arrives in theaters Dec. 17, 2021.
