The filming locations for Marvel Studios' followup to 2019's Spider-Man: Far From Home may have just been revealed.

The announcement of a third Spider-Man movie to take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe came as a new deal was met between Sony and Disney (thanks to a drunk phone call between Tom Holland and Disney CEO Bob Iger) after an impasse between the two studios regarding the web-slinger's film rights.

The first MCU Spider-Man film, Spider-Man: Homecoming, released in 2017 and was met with positive reviews from both critics and fans. Jon Watts directed both Homecoming and Far From Home and is set to helm the third film, which is planned for release on July 16, 2021.
