New photos from the set of Spider-Man 3 have surfaced and hint at a number of possibilities, which could be either a throwback to an old Spidey suit or the introduction of a new one.Posted to Twitter, the photos show an unknown actor -- who is likely Tom Holland's stunt double -- clad in a motion-capture suit. This has led to speculation from fans that the Iron Spider suit, given to Peter Parker by Tony Stark, will return for the third, untitled movie. Whether the suit returns as a flashback or something else is unclear. However, as little is known about the film's plot, it could be an all-new suit entirely.RELATED: Zendaya Teases 'Running From Aliens' in Spider-Man 3

Behind the actor is a poster which advertises "Free Photos and Autographs" from your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. The poster is likely a remnant of Aunt May's Fundraiser in Spider-Man: Far From Home for survivors of the Blip, a film that ended with Mysterio outing Peter as Spider-Man and proclaiming him a villain.

Several set photos from Spider-Man 3 have made their way online, including photos of a F.E.A.S.T. truck, which hint at the possible Marvel Cinematic Universe debut of Mr. Negative. Other set photos have also revealed that the Far From Home sequel takes place during Christmas and that Tom Holland's brother Harry will have a brief role on set.

Directed by Jon Watts, the currently untitled sequel to Spider-Man: Far From Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina and Benedict Cumberbatch. The film arrives in theaters Dec. 17, 2021.
