Sony has teased new details about Spider-Man 3, including the fallout of Spider-Man's identity reveal.

The Illuminerdi captured images of the Story for Sony's official @spideyno1fan_ account created for Spider-Man: Far From Home, which teases a number of potential plot elements for the third film in the MCU trilogy. The account shared two polls and a picture from The Daily Bugle website that was teased in the post-credits scene of Far From Home.

The account, which is meant to be Flash Thompson's social media feed, posted a poll about whether Spider-Man or Night-Monkey is the better hero and one asking whether Betty or Ned is better. The first describes Spider-Man as a menace, proving that once Spidey was outed as Peter, Flash turned against his former hero and began using Jameson's description of the wall-crawler. Interestingly, the Ned poll features the character in an orange Hobgoblin hat, nodding to Ned Leeds' comic book history as the villain and possibly teasing a dark turn for the man in the chair.

The Daily Bugle post, meanwhile, features a story on the fallout of Spidey's identity reveal. In the movie, J. Jonah Jameson made his MCU debut and shared footage of Mysterio framing Spider-Man for his deeds and revealing his identity as Peter Parker. Spidey and MJ watching the news is mentioned before an update reads: "Since then, chaos has erupted all over New York! Somehow, people STILL support Spider-Man, not us! We are all team Mysterio, baby! Now, police has [sic] to take control of the situation, way to go Spider-Man!”

While the Bugle could be sensationalizing things, it makes sense that NYC would be in an uproar given what was revealed at the end of the last movie. It also appears people are picking sides between Mysterio and Spidey, or at least, the Bugle is trying to fan the flames.

Little is known about the plot of the still-untitled third Spider-Man film, but it's said to deal with the multiverse. Doctor Strange will appear in the film, as will former Spider-Man movie actors Alfred Molina and Jamie Foxx. It's also rumored that Andrew Garfield, Kirsten Dunst and Tobey Macguire will reprise their previous roles in the film. On top of all that, Peter will have to contend with a world that knows his identity and a Bugle that's out to get him.
