Spider-Ham Returns in 2019's Amazing Spider-Man Annual

Following his big screen debut in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, the spectacular Spider-Ham will star in this year's Amazing Spider-Man Annual.

The issue will be written by Jason Latour (Spider-Gwen) and drawn by multiple artists, including David LaFuente (Ultimate Spider-Man). It will follow Peter Porker as he and Spider-Guin face animal-themed threats from his world. The cover for the annual, drawn by LaFuente and colored by Rico Renzi, is below.

While the full list of animal heroes and villains slated to appear in the annual this summer is unknown at this time, the cover does show Eelectro, Buzzard, Mysteriape, Green Gobbler and what appears to be Doctor Octopussy Cat.

Created by Tom DeFalco and Mark Armstrong in 1983's Marvel Tails Starring Peter Porker, the Spectacular Spider-Ham, the porcine webslinger has often appeared in adventures across the Marvel Multiverse, including Spider-Verse and Secret Wars as well as Latour, Renzi and Robbi Rodriguez's own Spider-Gwen ongoing series.

Latour and LaFuente's The Amazing Spider-Man Annual is scheduled to go on sale this June from Marvel Comics.
