Spider-Gwen is getting a brand-new series this summer and a new superhero codename to go along with it as she makes her way back to the main Marvel Universe.

Marvel Comics released its advance solicitation information for August 2019, including the debut issue of Ghost Spider #1 by Seanan McGuire and Takeshi Miyazawa. The upcoming series has Gwen Stacy from Earth-65 travel to the main Marvel U to attend college after her secret identity as a crimefighter was exposed to her home world at the end of the original series by Spider-Gwen creators Jason Latour, Robbi Rodriguez and Rico Renzi. The solicit info, along with the variant cover drawn by Marvel Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada, inked by Kevin Nowlan and colored by Richard Isanove are below:

In addition to being available as a variant cover, Quesada's piece will also be available on sale as a poster. Dividing her time between Earth-65 and Earth-616, the spider-powered Gwen Stacy's multiversal heroics will not go unnoticed by a shadowy villain.
