In a CBR-exclusive clip from Paramount Pictures' latest horror movie Spell, Marquis T. Woods (Omari Hardwick) finds himself in a nightmarish situation.

The clip kicks off as Marquis is startled awake by a nightmare. He quickly finds himself locked inside the room of a backwoods cabin deep in the Appalachian Mountains. Unable to walk due to injuries his feet sustained in a plane crash, Marquis begs to the unseen Ms. Eloise release him so he can be reunited with his family.

As a heartbroken Marquis pleads to see his mother and family again, he realizes he is being watched by the sinister hoodoo doll that provides plenty of unrelenting tension throughout the film.

Filmed in South Africa, Spell was intended for a traditional theatrical release. Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, though, the film was ultimately distributed digitally just in time for Halloween this past October. The film is now available on Blu-ray for new audiences to experience the film's supernatural terror.

Directed by Mark Tonderai from a script written by Kurt Wimmer, Spell stars Omari Hardwick and Loretta Devine. The film is now available on home video.
