MGM and Columbia Pictures hope to top their previous Bond outing Skyfall with next year’s Spectre. However, that’s no small mountain to climb, considering the 2012 Sam Mendes film was a critical and financial success, earning $1.1 billion worldwide.
Speaking of mountains, filming of Spectre began on one in Austria, as you can see in this newly released still and behind-the-scenes video. The footage features actors Léa Seydoux and Dave Bautista and some of the crew discussing the location. You also get a look at Bond himself, Daniel Craig, in what’s referred to as “a jewel in the jewel” action scene of the picture.
The 24th Bond film also stars newcomers Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci and Andrew Scott, as well as returning cast members Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris and Rory Kinnear. Spectre arrives Nov. 6, 2015.
