Todd McFarlane recently teased a "big reveal" coming to Spawn this December.McFarlane posted an image from Spawn #313 on Twitter, featuring the massive new character who also appears on the issue's cover. "There's been A LOT of speculation from you folks about WHO this giant is," McFarlane added. "In Spawn 313, on shelves December 23rd, you'll FINALLY find out!"

Spawn #313 will serve as the conclusion to the comic series' "Cult of Omega" storyline. Fans speculated that the storyline will reintroduce the villainous Omega Spawn. First appearing in the defunct crossover miniseries Image United, Omega Spawn was a demonic version of Al Simmons who sought to destroy the world.

Spawn is currently dealing with an onslaught of problems. Not only are the forces of Heaven and Hell on his back, but he must also contend with a mysterious pandemic that has been ravaging the globe and leaving thousands dead in its wake. Spawn eventually decided to use one of his greatest powers to raise an army of the dead, intending to face both Heaven and Hell. It seems like he'll have yet another enemy to contend with in #313 now too.

Spawn #313 goes on sale on Dec. 23rd from Image Comics.
