Longtime voice actor Keith David confirmed on Twitter he voices Mortal Kombat 11's Spawn, set to join the game's roster on March 24.If Spawn's voice in the gameplay sounds familiar, it's because this isn't the actor's first time playing him. Fans of Todd McFarlane's 1997 television series can easily pick up the the likeness of MK11's Spawn to the animated show's Spawn. Turns out, Keith David, the voice actor for Spawn in the show, is making a return to the popular character in the latest Mortal Kombat video game. Aside from Spawn, David is known for portraying Dr. Facilier in Disney's The Princess and the Frog, as well as many other roles in various television shows like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2015 - 2017) and Adventure Time. David began his career as early as 1979 and has been credited in over 300 productions since then.

Developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Mortal Kombat 11 is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Windows and Google Stadia. The DLC fighter Spawn joins the roster on March 24. Players who buy the Kombat Pack DLC will be able to play as Spawn on March 17.
