The Kickstarter for Todd McFarlane's remastered Spawn figure has been doing exceedingly well. The writer and artist has posted a video showcasing the prototype, teasing a few of the details and features that fans can expect from the official model.McFarlane wrote on Twitter, "FOLKS! We JUST got in the @kickstarter Spawn prototype and I wanted to share it with YOU and show you some of the articulation on it. I think it's shaping up to look AWESOME!" In the video, the colored initial sculpt of the Spawn figure stands next to the prototype. McFarlane went into further detail on the Kickstarter page where he demonstrated the figure's swivel hips, double-jointed knees, feet and toe movements and spreadable limbs. He shared his hopes for giving the figure a soft chest to allow for forward bendability when the completed model is ready.RELATED: Todd McFarlane Reacts Live to Spawn Kickstarter Hitting $1 Million

Fans had expressed concerns that the model might lack some amount of articulation based on the level of detail, but McFarlane seems to have eased those concerns by showing that there will be movement in the chest, the head and the hands. Fans will also be able to pop out the arms, hands, and feet and replace them with other variations, including the gun that Spawn can carry.

The Kickstarter Spawn campaign was incredibly successful and McFarlane announced that he would be remastering the figure with additional features without having to go through toy retailers to reach the consumers. The goal was originally set at $100,000 but surpassed $1 million in only a couple of days. The campaign is still going strong and, at the time of writing, is nearing the $2 million mark.
