Todd McFarlane has shared a sneak peek at some art for the upcoming landmark Spawn #301.

Covers for Spawn #301 were recently revealed, featuring art by McFarlane and Greg Capullo, as well as variant covers by J. Scott Campbell and Alex Ross, among other notable artists.

Spawn helped launch Image Comics after its co-founding by McFarlane in 1992. The series follows former black-ops assassin Al Simmons, who sold his soul to Hell when he was murdered by his old employers before returning as the undead antihero. As Spawn, he finds himself defending the Earth from both supernatural and technological threats. The character and his story have appeared throughout pop culture, including movies, television shows and video games.
