A Spanish citizen that broke the coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown disguised as a T-Rex was stopped by the police and sent back home after being admonished on the risks of breaking quarantine protocol. On the first released video, filmed by a neighbor, the T-Rex wannabe is clearly taking out the garbage. In the second video, however, it seems as if the T-Rex was making a break for a nearby park. The video was accompanied by John Williams' Jurassic Park theme.Spain has been on lockdown since March 16, and Spaniards are only supposed to be on the street for short specific errands like going to the supermarket or the pharmacy. They are also allowed to take their pets on brief walks.

The official Twitter account of the Murcia police posted a public service announcement tweet reminding citizens to not go outside. "The state of emergency allows people to walk their pets briefly to relieve them. Having a Tyrannosaurus Rex complex is not covered," the statement read.

Both the video and the police message went viral in Spanish Twitter, with users swinging between anger at the T-Rex lockdown breaker and goodwill for helping them crack a smile.
