WARNING: The following contains spoilers for Space Jam: A New Legacy, now in theaters and on HBO Max.

In Space Jam: A New Legacy, LeBron James must assemble a team of Warner Bros. characters to assist him in a basketball game, and the stakes couldn’t be higher. He and his son have been sucked into the Serververse by the evil Al-G Rhythm, and if he loses, they will be trapped forever and all of the Looney Toons will be destroyed.

With so much on the line, LeBron is determined to find the best team possible, leaving him and Bugs Bunny to travel to multiple different worlds in search of team members. After some early hiccups in DC World, they find some of the Looney Toons to assist them, but they still need a game-changer. And they decide to look for one in Wonder Woman's home of Themyscira, where they discover Lola Bunny has been training to become an Amazon warrior.

Space Jam Wonder Woman and Lola Bunny

When LeBron and Bugs arrive on Themyscira, they are met with a scene that is reminiscent of Wonder Woman 1984: Lola is about to undergo the final trials, and she is determined to succeed. She has given up basketball, spent years training and definitely doesn’t want Bugs to mess it up for her. And at Princess Diana’s command, Lola starts her trial by running down a flight of stairs and jumping on her horse.

As she rides between swinging axes and other sharp objects, Bugs and LeBron follow behind her to try and convince her that she should come along with them, only for her to be unimpressed. Lola then jumps into a pit of snakes as Bugs again tries to pitch how great it would be to play with NBA superstar LeBron James, but again, she's focused on completing her trial in the allotted time.

Space Jam Lola is an official Amazon

In the final stretch of the challenge, the Amazon applicant must vault over a pit of boiling lava. But while Lola easily makes it over, Bugs and LeBron get stuck. As Lola is running toward the finish line with plenty of time to spare, she hears Bugs and LeBron calling for help and discussing the NBA star's son. Now understanding what is at stake, Lola stops short of her goal to go back and rescue them Bugs and LeBron her whip.

Afterward, Lola climbs back up the stairs dejectedly and admits her failure to Wonder Woman. She is fully expecting to be rejected as an Amazon because she didn’t finish in time, but Diana has other ideas. She tells Lola, “A warrior is judged not only by her skills but by her values.” And with that, she declares that Lola is now an Amazon and instructs her to go and help LeBron with the game and save his son. Thrilled with her new status, Lola excitedly leaves with LeBron and Buggs to join their team of basketball-playing Looney Toons.
