WARNING: The following contains spoilers for the South Park Season 23 finale, "Christmas Snow."

The first half of South Park's 23rd season focused heavily on Randy Marsh and his Tegridy Farms as he grew and sold marijuana. The various strains made him tons of money, with Disney and China getting in on the business as well. However, Randy eventually decided to call it quits after Halloween.

He felt it best to wait until the winter ended and then return to the game, resting up for the next crop. However, the season finale sees Randy and his company reappearing in a big way, upgrading its operations to help save Christmas for the townsfolk who are just looking to enjoy the festivities in high spirits.

The episode opens with the residents of the town, well, the adults, getting hammered at Christmas parties. This results in several accidents and causes Santa Claus to lobby for an alcohol ban. It passes but the mayor makes a shocking move to appease her unsettled people, approaching the very man they vilified in Randy to supply them with something to get hammered with.

Randy and Towelie are out of ideas, though, as their fields are frozen and they don't want to just mix old strains from the remaining batch, parcel and sell them. They try to think outside the box and as Randy, who's sporting a white Santa beard, looks to the night sky, the idea to upgrade comes in the form of a giant, glowing star, similar to that of Bethlehem on the night Jesus was born in the Bible.

Randy shows up the next day in town with a sleigh with jars of weed for everyone. And so, they all get high, smoking the weed and tearing the place up, not realizing there's a special ingredient on this product, aptly named "Christmas Snow." When the mayor eventually confronts him about its strong effects, it's revealed that the cannabis is actually laced with cocaine. Randy didn't know, or more likely, he chose to ignore the fact it's illegal and sprinkled it all over the product. This is why South Park's inhabitants are "getting lit" like never before. When he's informed he has to shut down operations once more, he resits as Tegridy's back in the fold making big waves, and he can't slip up. Randy's come too far and such progress in terms of his business model can't be walked back.

Within a few hours, Randy sets up protests, awareness drives, rock concerts and even lobbies the Senate Basically everything he did to get weed legal over the course of the last season. It's all sped-up in hypertime and Randy returns with news that cocaine is now legal in seven states including Colorado. But Santa's been keeping an eye on Randy and his business makes the naughty list as old man Claus goes to the same policy-makers to get a new law passed -- the banning of weed.

It's devastating as Tegridy has lost its bread and butter. But the resourceful Randy makes an even bigger upgrade by selling pure cocaine in his jars now. "From farm to nostril" is his tagline and seeing as he's not breaking any laws, the cash keeps rolling in. It's all homegrown from his indoor greenhouses and processed right there on his farm, so it's all about supporting local business. Surprisingly, Santa has no response to the strategy, leading to Randy making more money than ever before. Everyone's addicted and much to Santa's chagrin, Tegridy Farms expands to the delight of a town that desperately wanted something to spice up their celebrations.

Starring Trey Parker and Matt Stone, South Park airs Wednesdays at 10 pm ET/PT on Comedy Central.
