CULVER CITY, CA – May 16, 2003 - Sony Pictures Consumer Products has announced it has signed a licensing agreement with 88 MPH Studios for the 1984 blockbuster movie, Ghostbusters, which is set to celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2004. 88 MPH Studios will be responsible for developing comic books, graphic novels, art books and trade paperbacks, posters, lithographs and wall scrolls. The 88 MPH Studios Ghostbusters products will be available through comic book stores in the United States and Canada beginning this fall.

One of the biggest comedies of all time, Ghostbusters focused on a trio of spirit exterminators who tried to rid New York of its ghost infestation. Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Sigourney Weaver headed up the all-star cast.

88 MPH Studios, based in Quebec City, Canada, was founded in 2001 to produce the first ever Transformers™ art book entitled "Genesis".
