Here's some news that would get a whole lot of laughter from SAMCRO's rivals: Charlie Hunnam is set to star in Fifty Shades of Grey.

The Sons of Anarchy and Pacific Rim actor has been tapped for the lead role of Christian Grey in Universal Pictures, Focus Features and director Sam Taylor-Johnson's upcoming adaptation of E.L. James' erotic thriller. His casting puts an end to months and months of rumors that included even the likes of Twilight star Robert Pattinson.

In addition to Hunnam's casting, actress Dakota Johnson has also joined Fifty Shades in the second lead role. She'll play Anastasia Steele, a college student who crosses paths with Christian Grey, a young and tortured billionaire who prefers his sexual relationships to be young and tortured as well.

Fifty Shades of Grey hits theaters on Aug. 1, 2014, the same weekend as Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.
