'Facet' can mean a few different things, but it commonly refers to a certain aspect of an object, person, or situation. It can also refer to gems and jewels. For many reasons, "Ms. Facet" is a perfect code name for Rouge. Rouge is a complicated and mysterious woman. Rouge lives her life in constant deception, disguising herself as she hunts down her favorite objects: jewels. She is eventually hired by the government to find and spy on Dr. Eggman. She acts as a spy and pretends to work as an ally for Dr. Eggman.

While there are many things about Rouge that remain a mystery, it is clear that she has a lot of depth. She is smart, flirtatious, well-spoken, and cunning. One well-known facet of Rouge is her passion for jewels. Before working under the government, Rouge prided herself on being a jewel-thief. While she does not seem to operate on the same morals that Sonic and his friends do, she often ends up helping them in their endeavors.

Rouge was first introduced to the Sonic world in Sonic Adventure 2, in 2001. In those nineteen years, fans have seen many facets of Rouge's personality. However, there is still little known about who she really is.
