A new and improved cinematic version of Sonic the Hedgehog is racing into theaters in three months, and the redesigned speedster is front and center alongside his mortal enemy Doctor Ivo Robotnik on a new poster.

The poster lands in the wake of the latest trailer, which officially unveiled the eponymous video game character's revised design. In the key art, Jim Carrey's Robotnik towers over Sonic, with an explosive fleet of robotic drones ready to stop the anthropomorphic hedgehog for good. The poster's version of Robotnik differs from the one seen in the trailer, before his transformation into a character that better resembled his video game counterpart.

The film's release date was pushed back from November to February to accommodate an extensive redesign of the character, with the newly unveiled version being received much more favorably by the fans.
