Harrison Ford has become Han Solo once again in a video that deepfakes his face over Alden Ehrenreich's in Solo: A Star Wars Story.

The video, uploaded by Shamook, features scenes from the 2018 film with Ford replacing Ehrenreich as Han Solo prior to the original Star Wars trilogy. This is done through the means of deepfake, which allows an existing image or video to be replaced with someone else's likeness. The scenes include Han around the fire with Chewbacca, Tobias Beckett and Val, Han confronting Beckett and Han standing side by side with Lando Calrissian, who does not get the deepfake treatment.

Ford's likeness is seamlessly melded onto Ehrenreich's face, allowing Han's interactions with other characters to flow smoothly. Shamook even uses the confrontation between Solo and Beckett to compare the original scene with the deepfake version; Ehrenreich is on the left side, while Ford is on the right. Gradually, Ehrenreich is removed, and only Ford's likeness remains as the scene continues with no disturbances.
