Ask any Star Wars fan to name their "must-have" film in the franchise, and you're almost certain to either get a wide array of responses, or for the majority to pick the same movies. The cast of Solo: A Star Wars Story was asked this very same question during a junket for the Movies Anywhere app, and CBR has the exclusive on what film came out on top, by a near-unanimous decision.

When Alden Ehrenreich (Han Solo), Donald Glover (Lando Calrissian), Joonas Suotamo (Chewbacca) and Thandie Newton (Val) were asked what their "must-have" movie in the Star Wars saga was, all four actors chose 1980's Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back. Phoebe Waller-Bridge (L3-37) was the only holdout, picking A New Hope as her personal favorite.

"We already have been introduced to everybody, so all the cool stuff can happen, and you also don't have to have any resolution," Glover said. Ehrenreich added, "It's not the beginning and it's not the end, and to find this middle chapter, I like the way they did it."
