Naoya Fukushi,  a CG assistant on the So I'm A Spider, So What? anime, candidly addressed the show's production issues and responded to some of the criticism and insults that their team has faced.

In a series of tweets, Fukushi offered an explanation for the issues that popped up during the production of the anime, saying, "The outsourced animation on multiple episodes completely broke down, and Millipensee had to redo it all from scratch." Millipensee is the animation studio that is handling the primary production duties for So I'm A Spider, So What?. Fukushi urged fans to be patient, explaining "The staff are quite literally killing themselves to deal with this. Please be patient with the delay." The CG assistant also addressed some of the negative comments that have been directed toward the show's staff in the wake of the last episode's delay, saying, "There are a lot of insensitive tweets from people who don't know the production situation... And the people who are slinging insults won't stop until someone takes their own life." The full translation of Fukushi's tweets, which includes additional details about the show's production, is available on Anime News Network.
