The release of the next episode of So I'm A Spider, So What? has been postponed.

According to Anime News Network, an announcement was posted to So I'm A Spider, So What?'s official website stating that Episode 24 of the series, which was originally scheduled to air in Japan on June 25, has been delayed at the last moment due to unspecified production issues. This is the latest setback for the series, which was supposed to premiere in 2020, but instead debuted in early 2021 due to production delays related to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The popular isekai anime is directed by Shin Itagaki, who previously directed the 2016 Berserk anime, and is written by Infinite Dendrogram's Yuichiro Momose and Okina Baba, So I'm A Spider, So What?'s creator.

So I'm A Spider, So What? tells the story of a classroom full of high school students who are suddenly killed by an unexplained explosion and then reincarnated on a high fantasy world that operates under a set of rules similar to that of an RPG video game. While most of the students are reborn as powerful warriors or magicians, the initially nameless protagonist is reincarnated as a low-level, spider-like monster. Optimistic to a fault, the titular spider decides to overcome this setback and eventually gets involved in a quest to save the world.

So I'm A Spider, So What? is being simulcast by Crunchyroll and is available for streaming on the service in regions outside of Asia. A new premiere date for the next episode of the series has not been announced at this time.
