The arrival of Red Hood, who will be played by current Jason Todd actor Curran Walters, was announced at DC FanDome in late August. According to the new character description, Todd will take on the new identity to take down his old teammates.

Titans Season 3 will introduce some other big names from DC Comics as well, including Barbara Gordon — who has given up the Batgirl mantle and now serves as commissioner of the Gotham City Police Department — and the villain Jonathan Crane / Scarecrow (both roles have yet to be cast). Executive producer Greg Walker also teased the return of Donna Troy / Wonder Girl (Conor Leslie), who died at the end of Season 2.

Zack Snyder's Justice League will also be welcoming some big names. Joe Manganiello will return as Deathstroke in an expanded role after only appearing in the original film's post-credits scene. Jared Leto's Joker will also be making an appearance. They will join Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck and Ray Fisher, who are currently filming reshoots.
