Since picking up "Batman" with the debut of the New 52 in September 2011, Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo have taken the Dark Knight through a "Night of the Owls," broke apart Batman's allies in "Death of the Family," and explored his New 52 origins in "Zero Year." In October, the newest chapter in Snyder and Capullo's "Batman" saga begins with "Batman: Endgame" in "Batman" #35. Revealed in this month's New 52 solicits on DCComics.com, the issue's solicitation promises "the biggest, deadliest and most epic story yet" from the creative team.
Snyder recently spoke with CBR News about wrapping up "Zero Year," and what to expect from "Endgame."
"The next [arc] is only six issues, so it's not a year-long, it's not 'Zero Year' at all, but it's definitely our most muscular, crazy colorful [arc] so far," Snyder told CBR.
