A new trailer for the TV adaption of Snowpiercer finally revealed when the new series will premiere on TNT.

The series will debut on Sunday, May 31, on TNT. Aside from unveiling the release date, the trailer also offers some new footage from the action-packed sci-fi series.

TNT first ordered a pilot of Snowpiercer in November 2016 before officially picking it up for a full season in January 2018. Despite not airing until summer 2020, the series has already been greenlit for a second season.

The original Snowpiercer film premiered in 2013. It was directed by Bong Joon-Ho (Parasite) and starred Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton and Jamie Bell and was based on the French graphic novel Le Transperceneige, created by Jacques Lob and Jean-Marc Rochette.

Snowpiercer is being developed for television by Josh Friedman, with Bong Joon-Ho serving as an executive producer, while Graeme Manson serves as showrunner. The series stars Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Alison Wright, Mickey Sumner, Susan Park, Iddo Goldberg, Katie McGuinness, Lena Hall, Annalise Basso, Sam Otto, Roberto Urbina, Sheila Vand and Jaylin Fletcher. The series premieres Sunday, May 31 on TNT.
