Special Labor Day edition!!

WEIRD COMIC THINGS

A weird aspect of Hal Jordan's past is how many odd jobs the man has had over the years. Originally (and most memorably), Hal was a test pilot for Ferris, where he dated his boss, Carol Ferris. However, he resigned from that job about thirty years ago!

Since then, Hal has sold insurance, he's sold toys (!?!?), he's been a migrant farm worker (!?!??), he's been a full-time Green Lantern, he's been a Spirit of Vengeance and only recently, he once again became a Test Pilot, this time for the military.

Has any comic book hero ever had as many odd jobs as Hal Jordan?

COVER THEME DAY

Today's theme is labor unions (please note that the Tintin comic is an unauthorized version of Tintin)!!

Any other labor union-themed covers you can think of?

SNARK FREE CHALLENGE

Who do you think gave better worker's benefits to the citizens of Gotham - Alan Scott or Bruce Wayne?

SNARK FREE THEME DAY

Today's theme is...LABOR (Going in to while crazy stuff happens)!!

1. Lana Lang gave birth to her son (named Clark) prematurely, so Superman had to help the child WHILE being attacked by Doomsday!

2. The Fantastic Four had to go into the Negative Zone to steal Annihilus's Cosmic Control Rod to make sure Sue delivered the baby safely!

3. The Team Titans were trying to murder Donna Troy to keep her from giving birth to this evil bad guy.

4. Linda Park had her pregnancy ended prematurely by the villain Zoom, but then, just as suddenly, after a later battle with Zoom, the effect was reversed and Linda gave birth almost right away!

5. Ms. Marvel gave "birth" to the guy who had brainwashed her and impregnated her with himself while there were all sorts of temporal oddities outside of Avengers Mansion.

Can you name other wacky events during deliveries of babies in comics?
