Tobey Maguire talked with the Boston Globe about his new film, "Brothers," but they did ask him about the Spidey sequel. "Hopefully I'll be able to evolve the character in a new direction ... He'll still be Peter Parker, but I hope I can move him forward a bit and take him to a place where there will be new challenges for me as an actor," says Maguire.

Directed by Sam Raimi, release date: May 5th, 2011

Director Nimrod Antal tells Comingsoon.net the challenge of the film is strking the right balance between the original film and modern techniques. The director and producer Robert Rodriguez, known for his devotion to digital tool, were able to come to an accord. "I think we both recognize that the original film was as good as it was because of the practical, because it was a guy in a suit, because it was the jungle, so we stay true to that. We were in Hawaii for a month in the jungle, so there's going to be some pretty impressive locations," says Antal.

Starring Adrian Brody, release date: July 9th, 2010

It appears the film will delay start of filming by a couple of months. Previously, the production was set to commence in March, but there has been talk of that start date moving into the summer. TheOneRing.net translates text from an interview with producer Peter Jackson on German site Moviereporter.net. Jackson says, "We're currently working on the second script which we hope to have completed by the end of this year or beginning of next.  When the scripts are completed, we can begin with the exact calculation of the necessary budget.  We hope to start filming in the middle of next year. However, we've received no green light from the studio yet."

Release date: December 2011
